Eliot Charof (b. 1987, Framingham, MA) is an artist, photographer and filmmaker based in Venice, CA. He received his B.A. in New Media from SUNY Purchase College. His work introduces new narratives about beauty and desire, embracing themes of the past and creating fictionalized moments of the imagined future. Charof’s work is characterized by a visual representation of the the Spiritual that emphasizes exploration, transcendence, play and self enlightenment. He is often inspired by pastoral and metaphorical scenes from his dreamscapes and metaphysical visions.
